The 8th is the 3rd par 3 on Sandy Lane. The hole is fairly narrow with thick bush down the left and the Hartbeespoort Dam on the right. The dam cuts into the hole from the right that helps to protect the green. Just past the inlet there is a bunker that also helps protect the green. (See 2nd Photograph). At 160 meters it is a fairly lengthy par 3. The 15th on the second time round is slightly shorter at 145 meters

The trees down the left of the hole continue all the way to the side of the green even though they thin quite considerably by the time the get to the green.

The third photograph shows the green which is surrounded by the dam.
